1,568 new lawyers were called to the Bar — she took the two top honors

At Ghana’s 63rd Call to the Bar ceremony, admitting a cohort of 1,568, Akosua Achiaa Sarpong of Adum-Kumasi won the General Legal Council’s two highest academic awards: the John Mensah Sarbah Prize for best all-round student and the Best Student in Civil Procedure award — distinctions she now carries into legal practice as an officer of the court.
