22 Indian medical scientists just joined the world's top 2%

Twenty-two scientists from the Indian Council of Medical Research have been named in the Stanford–Elsevier Global Ranking 2026 of the world's top 2% of scientists, spanning 22 disciplines and 174 sub-fields. Leading the ICMR contingent is Additional Director General Dr Sanghamitra C. Pati, ranked 19,407 worldwide, alongside Dr Prashant Mathur and Dr Rizwan Suliankatchi Abdulkader.
