Radio presenters from across Global's brands spent Make Some Noise Day taking on grueling personal challenges: Vicky Pattison cycled, kayaked and ran a 250-mile Tyne-to-Thames route in five days; Kemi Rodgers endured a military-style Commando Challenge; and Des Clarke ran 13.1 miles through Glasgow with 70 listeners. The 13th annual appeal raised £4,576,707 (about $6.2 million) for 755 small charities delivering lifelines in communities across the UK — bringing the appeal's all-time total past £47 million.
