43 years at the chalkface: a teacher's lifetime gets its award

Forty-three years later — teacher, department head, principal at Sekampaneng Primary School — she received the Kader Asmal Lifetime Achievement Award at South Africa's 26th National Teaching Awards, where President Cyril Ramaphosa told educators that while AI can provide an answer, 'a teacher helps a learner understand the question.'
