70 records nobody has tried yet — from the fastest sack race to origami cranes

Guinness World Records turns 70 this year, and to celebrate it has published a list of 70 records that nobody has ever attempted — an open invitation to glorious pointlessness. Among the unclaimed glories: the fastest 400-metre sack race, the farthest coin bounce into a cup, the most high-fives in 30 seconds, and, for younger challengers, the fastest pasta necklace and the most origami cranes folded in three minutes. Seventy years in, the record book still has blank pages — and they are waiting for somebody gloriously determined to fill one.

The upbeat factorworld-record glory is sitting there unclaimed, and all it takes is a sack, some pasta, and unreasonable determination.
