Nepal welcomed 88,248 international tourists in September 2026, up 12.1% from the same month last year, with visitors from India and China leading the way. Nine-month arrivals reached 865,920 — a 6% rise — feeding hotels, trekking agencies, airlines and the local businesses that live off the trails.
