A Mexican Oyster Cooperative Wins Top Honors for Healing the Sea

Bendito Mar, a fishing cooperative in Baja California Sur's Bahía Magdalena, became the first Mexican farm to join the Aquaculture Stewardship Council's improver program — and took first place in Mexico's 2026 National Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Award for rural aquaculture.
