A quarter-million dollars of quiet care for eight homes of Tibetan elders in India

The Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition's Social Services Fund reported its 2026 grants: US$247,591 spread across eight homes for elderly Tibetan refugees in India — in Dharamsala, Kalimpong, Bir, Bylakuppe, Mundgod, Hunsur, Kollegal and Odisha. The money covers running costs plus repairs that matter: a new health clinic at Jampaling, home to 74 elders, and cyclone-damage repairs at Phuntsok Ling. Two more elder projects in the Dalhousie and Paonta Cholsum settlements received contributions too. The fund has been doing this quietly since 2015.

The upbeat factorgratitude — devotion measured in clinic walls and repaired roofs.
