A seed-sized robot that does five surgeries in one
Most surgical micro-robots do one trick. NTU Singapore's 4.4-millimeter robot — steered by magnets, no wires — can crawl, cut tissue, release drugs, grab samples, and heat precise spots, switching in under a second. One day, such robots could operate deep inside the body through a single tiny opening.
The upbeat factorA whole surgical team, smaller than a grain of rice.
