Abu Dhabi clinics become the Middle East’s first to earn a top global endoscopy accreditation

SEHA Clinics in Abu Dhabi, part of the PureHealth group, has become the first healthcare provider in the UAE and the wider Middle East to earn the American Accreditation Commission International’s endoscopy services certification, valid from 2026 through 2029. The award followed a rigorous independent assessment of two diagnostic and screening centers — Al Zafaranah in Abu Dhabi and Oud Al Touba in Al Ain — which together performed 1,511 endoscopy procedures in 2025 and 703 more in the first half of 2026. For patients, it means earlier detection of digestive conditions without traveling abroad for specialist care.
