88,248 international tourists arrived in Nepal in September 2026 — 12.1% more than the same month last year — even though the country was still reeling from the Bhotekoshi floods and landslides. India remained the top market with 17,425 September arrivals, up 12%; Sri Lanka surged 54%; Bangladesh rose 31.5%; and China more than doubled, with 11,212 arrivals, up 114%.
