An Argentine solar company lights up its first plant in Brazil
360Energy, an Argentine solar developer, has commissioned a 13.4 MW solar farm in Porto Real, in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro state — its first project outside Argentina. The plant, PSF 360E Porto Real, spreads across 21 hectares next to an industrial site and is expected to generate about 25 GWh a year — roughly the annual use of some 10,000 Brazilian homes — supplying about half of its neighbour's electricity under a 15-year agreement. More than 80 local people worked on the build, and two sister parks are already rising in Betim and Goiana.
