An Ohio women's giving circle wrote a $9,600 check to help find people who wander
A group of Ohio women who pool their money for local causes — 100 Caring Hearts of Ottawa County — has handed the largest single donation ever to the area's Project Lifesaver chapter: a $9,600 check. The money buys radio-tracking gear — four new receivers plus wristband transmitters — that helps rescuers quickly find people with memory problems or developmental disabilities if they wander off. It's neighborly kindness in its purest form: 109 women deciding, together, that nobody's family should have to search the dark alone.
The upbeat factor109 women, one checkbook, and a promise that nobody goes missing unnoticed.
