At 10, Kenya's Delight is cutting school dropouts and teen pregnancies in half

Delight Ratesh Mc'Dan is 10 years old, and she's already redefining leadership in Kenya. Through book drives for underserved schools, fashion shows empowering visually impaired children, and community peace walks, her work has cut school dropouts and teenage pregnancies in her community by 50%. She leads the Destiny Explorers and the Delight Book Club, aiming to reach 1,000 children. She was one of seven Kenyans honored with this year's Diana Award — the UK's highest accolade for young changemakers — among 200 youth from 45 countries in the award's 25th anniversary year.
