At 90½, he climbed Kilimanjaro — the oldest ever

Jim Scott, 90 and a half, became the oldest person in recorded history to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, reaching Uhuru Peak on August 28. It was his 669th mountain — and his second time up Kili, 45 years after the first.
