At three years old, he published a book about not wasting food — and set a world record

Advay Jain of South Brunswick, New Jersey, was 3 years and 345 days old when his picture book about a young dinosaur learning to value food was released — making him, Guinness World Records confirms, the youngest male ever to publish a book. The idea grew out of his own move to a new preschool, where meals came from school rather than home. Now four, he has sold more than 1,300 copies, after a childhood spent drawing his stories on the walls at home while his parents chose to nurture the habit rather than scold it.

The upbeat factorthe youngest published author on record, teaching the rest of us to finish what's on the plate.
