Back-to-back champions: India's cricketers keep the Asian Games crown
Two years before cricket returns to the Olympics, India's men showed why they're the team to beat. Defending their Asian Games title in Nisshin, Japan, they piled up 211 for 6 — Abhishek Sharma smashing 61 off 28 balls, Tilak Varma finishing 51 not out off 22 — then held their nerve as Pakistan chased. Hasan Nawaz's brave 96 off 51 balls kept the final alive to the very last delivery, but India won by 19 runs. 'A huge occasion... the whole country is watching and you have that pressure,' said captain Shreyas Iyer. The T20 world champions remain continental champions.
