Bangladesh just doubled what it sells Türkiye — in a single quarter
In three months, Bangladesh sold Türkiye $210.54 million worth of goods — more than double the $105.21 million from the same quarter last year, according to the Export Promotion Bureau. Garments led the charge, with jute, footwear and medical equipment along for the ride. As Turkish workers move out of garment factories into better-paying industries, Bangladeshi exporters are filling the gap with competitive prices and on-time delivery — a textbook case of a small economy finding big new doors.
The upbeat factorproof that diversification isn't a buzzword — it's a paycheck.
