BINI becomes the first Filipino act nominated at the Kids' Choice Awards

P-pop girl group BINI — Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha and Sheena — broke a nine-year K-pop hold on the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards' Favorite Global Music Star category, becoming the first Filipino act and the first non-Korean nominee ever. The eight-piece act will represent Asia alongside Taylor Swift, Zara Larsson, Tyla, Olivia Dean, Tame Impala, and Karol G when the show airs November 14 — capping a banner year that already brought Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year for their Signals World Tour at the Filipino Music Awards.
