Biofuel use across Canada grew 6% in 2025 and avoided a record 14.2 million tonnes of greenhouse-gas emissions, according to the annual Navius Research 'Biofuels in Canada' report — while also trimming fuel prices by about 2.4 Canadian cents a litre (about 1.7 US cents).
