Cancer screenings in Abu Dhabi jumped more than 280% in a year

Cancer screenings in Abu Dhabi rose by more than 280% in 2025 versus 2024, driven by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre’s ‘Check What Really Matters’ early-detection campaign — which relaunched for 2026 with an expert panel on October 5. The campaign tackles the fears and misconceptions that keep people from screening, and spotlights people who recovered from cancer and got back to their ambitions.
