Chile's small exporters get a smoother way to get paid: XTransfer completes its UAF registration
Cross-border payments platform XTransfer has completed registration of its Chilean arm with Chile's Financial Analysis Unit (UAF), the compliance step that lets it offer international collection and payment services to Chilean businesses. The service is aimed at small and medium-sized exporters, for whom getting paid from abroad is often the slowest, most paper-heavy part of trade. Bilateral trade between Chile and its largest partner reached US$66.9 billion in 2025, and XTransfer says payment collections from Latin America rose 94% year on year — a sign of how many small firms are now selling to the world.
The upbeat factorfor a small exporter in Santiago, 'payment received' just got a little less like a paperwork marathon.
