Denmark's Thor wind farm just installed the world's first recyclable-blade turbine

At the 1.1 GW Thor offshore wind farm — set to be Denmark's largest — RWE and Siemens Gamesa installed the first turbine with a CO₂-reduced steel tower and fully recyclable rotor blades. Forty of Thor's 72 turbines will carry recyclable blades. Denmark also sealed a joint energy-island pact with Germany this year.
