Denmark switched on storing carbon under the North Sea

Greensand, Denmark's first full-scale carbon storage project, officially launched — capturing CO2 and shipping it to depleted oil fields beneath the seabed, where it stays locked away. The first phase buries 400,000 tons a year, with room to grow tenfold.
