First participants with Duchenne see a new therapy clear its first hurdle
In Boston, Entrada Therapeutics shared first results from its Duchenne muscular dystrophy study: at the starting dose, its treatment ENTR-601-45 was safe and well tolerated, reached the body as predicted, and nudged production of dystrophin — the protein people with Duchenne cannot make properly — upward. Everyone in the first group has moved into the longer treatment phase, and a higher-dose group is already fully enrolled.
The upbeat factora first, careful step forward for families who measure hope one small protein gain at a time.
