Four flags, one dragon: Crew-13 docks at the space station after a seven-hour sprint

Commander Jessica Watkins, pilot Luke Delaney, Canada's Joshua Kutryk and Russia's Sergey Teteryatnikov lifted off from Cape Canaveral on Thursday aboard the Crew Dragon Grace — and just under eight hours later they were shaking hands with the crew of the International Space Station. They'll spend about six months up there on science that only works in zero gravity: tissue studies, plant growth, astronaut health. A small milestone inside the mission: two Canadians flying in space within six months, after Jeremy Hansen's lunar loop. Rivalries stay on the ground; the ride up is shared.

The upbeat factorfour nations, one hatch — the quiet proof that cooperation still flies.
