Four young Indian teams win ₹2 crore (about $210,000) to turn prototypes into startups

They came from Raebareli, Raipur, New Delhi and Hyderabad — and at the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Grand Finale in New Delhi on 17 October, four student teams shared incubation grants totalling ₹2 crore (about $210,000). QuantHunt is building quantum-ready cybersecurity; morphism uses AI to help autistic people read emotions; InnoBotix made a solar-powered device that warns villages of approaching wildlife; Somatrace is a wearable trainer against sports injuries. The winners, chosen from entries spanning 648 cities, also get mentorship and incubation at IIT Delhi's FITT. About 80,000 students have taken part since 2022.

The upbeat factorfour prototypes built by students are now funded startups-in-waiting — and each one solves somebody's real problem.
