From a few hundred to 1,147: Kenya's black rhinos now need more room to roam

Kenya's black rhinos have staged one of conservation's great comebacks — from the brink of extinction in the 1980s to 1,147 animals today, so many that the country's new challenge is finding them enough land. The milestone got its moment in Nairobi on October 3, when rangers, conservationists and filmmakers gathered for the African premiere of 'RHINO', a documentary five years in the making that follows the Kenyan rangers who turned the tide — narrated by Tom Hardy.
