From Chișinău to Bucharest: a Moldovan payments firm takes its tools across the border

Moldova is one of Europe's smallest economies, which makes TINEX's move worth noticing: the Chișinău payments company — whose tools already serve more than 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses at home — has secured licences for both of its products in Romania and is building a subsidiary there, hiring a local team of dozens. Its platform connects sales, accounting and customer tools in one monthly package, the kind of unglamorous software that decides whether a small shop can take card payments and see its own numbers clearly. The company plans to be operating in Romania by the end of 2027 and is already looking at the Czech market. Small country, export-grade software.

The upbeat factorbuilt at home, trusted abroad — a small country's software crossing a border on merit.
