From 'Malcolm in the Middle' to racing champion: Frankie Muniz just won his first title

Frankie Muniz spent his teens as TV's Malcolm; he spent this year racing 42 times. On Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he and co-driver Tyler Stone clinched the GT4 America Am-class championship — Muniz's first racing title ever. He didn't even need the win: second place was enough to seal it by 19 points, capping a season of three class wins and seven podiums. The kid from the sitcom is a champion racecar driver now.
