India put 94 million people on real blood-pressure and diabetes care

India has placed more than 94 million people on standardized, protocol-based care for hypertension and diabetes — blowing past its own national target of 75 million. The World Health Organization's South-East Asia office recognized the feat alongside other regional wins: Sri Lanka held its malaria-free status for a decade, Nepal sustained maternal and neonatal tetanus elimination for a decade, and the Maldives hit a 2030 early-mortality target years early.

The upbeat factorsteady primary care, at a scale no headline can hold.
