India's kids get a national stage for solving real problems
Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi launched the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026, inviting students from classes 6–12 — plus ITIs, polytechnics, and universities — to build solutions around five national themes, from a clean and sustainable India to farmers' prosperity. Registration runs through October 24, with the national finale in New Delhi from December 10 to 17. More than 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs are already getting students building.
The upbeat factorinstead of just learning about the country's problems, students get to engineer the answers.
