Jordan put young minds center stage — with a princess, two ministers and a video game
In Amman on Saturday, Jordan’s Ministry of Youth and Ministry of Health marked World Mental Health Day with UNICEF and Generations for Peace under the banner ‘Healthy Minds, Bright Futures’ — in the presence of Princess Aisha bint Faisal. The event launched ‘Emotions Catcher,’ a digital game co-designed with young people for ages 16–24, making emotional wellbeing something you practice, not hide. Ministers called youth mental health a shared national responsibility — a rare, public, top-level embrace of a subject many societies still whisper about.
