Kenya teams up with Türkiye to train more specialist doctors

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced an expanded health cooperation framework with Türkiye on Oct 3, after meeting outgoing ambassador Subutay Yuksel in Nairobi. The partnership centres on training specialist doctors, plus primary healthcare, digital health, local medicine manufacturing, research, health financing and climate-resilient hospitals. It also plans new Uwezo Hospitals and Kenya-Türkiye Centres for Children's Ability and Women's Health in six counties, bringing specialised care for women and children to underserved areas.

The upbeat factora partnership that puts doctors - and mothers and children - first.
