'Learners with dyslexia are not stupid': Uganda will screen its schoolchildren early

At Makerere University's fourth Annual Dyslexia Awareness Day in Kampala, Uganda's Ministry of Education and Sports committed to three concrete steps: early screening and assessment for learning difficulties at primary level, teacher training on learning difficulties, and inclusive classrooms with exam accommodations and assistive technology.
