Malaysia just collected 20 regional energy awards — eight of them outright wins
Malaysia improved on last year’s haul with 20 recognitions at the ASEAN Energy Awards 2026 — eight wins, seven runners-up and five third places — for energy-efficient buildings, biogas, solar, micro-hydro, green hydrogen, waste-to-energy and battery storage, announced by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation.
