Michigan's rivers get an $89 million second chance
The Detroit River and the Kalamazoo River are in line for a deep clean. Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Reclaim the Rivers: nearly $50 million to pull toxic PCBs out of the Detroit River, $25 million for restoration along the Kalamazoo watershed, and millions more for river projects across the state.
