Mom’s Book Nook just placed its 10,000th book into a child’s hands

Felicia Donson started Mom’s Book Nook to honor her late mother, Elaine Rothberg, and a simple love of reading. This week the Sarasota-area charity placed its 10,000th book into the hands of a local child — every donation, collection drive, and book-bin-hosting business building toward the milestone. Each book is a chance for a child to discover a new story. The group’s annual Holiday Book Drive runs November 1 through December 31.
