More than 100 musicians jammed for 60 straight hours — and the record fell

In Lansing, Michigan, more than 100 musicians — professionals and amateurs alike — rotated through in shifts to keep improvised music playing without stopping. For 60 straight hours. They started Monday at 10 a.m. and finished three days later at 10 p.m., crossing the old 57-hour record set in Spain in 2024 somewhere around Wednesday night. 'What humans normally do, which is to stop and take a break,' said organizer Jeff Boog — and then, for two and a half days, nobody did. The group plans to submit it to Guinness for official recognition.

The upbeat factorJoy that never took a break.
