Muscat and Salalah win nine international awards for how they treat travellers

Muscat and Salalah airports together collected nine honours at the 2026 Airport Service Quality Awards in Istanbul — including Most Enjoyable Airport, Cleanest Airport and Most Dedicated Staff. Muscat won in the busy-airport category while Salalah swept its smaller-airport division, capping a night that recognised Oman's travellers' experience as world-class.
