Nigeria is Africa's fastest-climbing economy for investors

Nigeria rose four places to 8th in Bloomberg Economics' 2026 Investment Risk-O-Meter of 19 African economies — the biggest jump of any country assessed — on stronger economic and fiscal scores, overtaking Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Namibia. Mauritius topped the ranking. The report credits three-plus years of reforms since President Bola Tinubu took office.
