Nigeria's gas milestone: 2 billion cubic feet a day at home

Nigeria's domestic gas supply has crossed 2 billion cubic feet per day, the government announced — gas that powers homes, cooking and industry at home instead of being exported or flared. Total production is up to 7.5 billion cubic feet a day, reserves have grown to 215 trillion cubic feet, and the OB3 pipeline is complete with the AKK line 95% finished. A $434 million infrastructure fund has drawn far larger private investment across 31 projects and 205 infrastructure assets. The target: 10 billion cubic feet a day by 2027.
