Nigeria's innovators take their bow: awards for child health tech, food security and clean energy

The 11th Nigeria Innovation Summit closed by handing its 2026 Innovation Awards to people solving unglamorous, essential problems. Sydani Group was honoured for using technology to improve children's healthcare, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative for food security, Keloks Technologies for treating wastewater and recovering resources, and Baobab Nigeria for widening access to finance for small businesses. The summit also unveiled the first Nigeria Innovation Report, so the country's progress gets documented — not just celebrated for a night.
