Thunder Bay's Patty Hajdu put $20.5 million on the table for 22 community-led projects across Northern Ontario — business expansions, startups, local growth — expected to create or protect 1,200 jobs. Last year the same program backed 1,092 businesses. Small towns, real money, no fanfare.
