Novo Nordisk is putting $18 million behind healthier childhoods

Novo Nordisk and UNICEF have expanded their global partnership with an $18 million commitment from 2026 to 2030 to help prevent childhood overweight and obesity — now affecting 1 in 10 school-aged children worldwide, having overtaken underweight for the first time on record. The four-year program, running 2027 to 2030, will help governments in seven priority countries make healthier food, schools, and cities the easy choice for more than 80 million children.
