One plan, one team: Dubai's new mental health hub wraps care around the whole family

Families in Dubai who need mental health support often end up shuttling between separate specialists who never compare notes. A new hub at Saudi German Hospital Dubai aims to end that patchwork: psychiatrists, psychologists and other hospital doctors now work from a single shared plan for each patient, covering early spotting of problems, assessment, treatment, family support and follow-up. Children and teenagers are at the centre of the model, with help for learning difficulties, ADHD and autism, plus guidance for parents and, with permission, teamwork with schools. Care for adults and older people runs alongside, all under one roof.
