Financing for Pakistan's small and medium enterprises reached Rs1.137 trillion (about $4.1 billion) by the end of September 2026 — up Rs23 billion (about $83 million) in a single quarter, with borrowers rising past 350,000. The figures were confirmed at the October 7 Access to Finance meeting chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, on the way to a Rs2 trillion (about $7.2 billion) target by June 2028.
