Pakistan's workers abroad sent home $10.9 billion in July-September, up 14%

Money sent home by Pakistanis working abroad rose 14% to $10.9 billion in July-September (the first quarter of fiscal year 2027), according to State Bank of Pakistan data released Oct 10. September alone brought $3.6 billion, up 12.7% from a year earlier. Saudi Arabia remained the largest source at $2.686 billion, while the UK posted the fastest growth among major sources at 19.4% - helping the government toward its $44 billion annual target.
