Rural clinics that work like an operating system just raised ₹100 crore (about $10.5 million) to reach more of India

In much of rural India, the nearest doctor can be hours away. CureBay has spent five years building what it calls a rural healthcare operating system: more than 250 technology-enabled clinics across seven states, 1,800-plus local health workers known as Swasthya Mitras, AI-powered screening and a round-the-clock command centre — a network that has already served 17 lakh (1.7 million) patients and runs more than 400 health camps a month. It has now raised ₹100 crore (about $10.5 million), led by IvyCap Ventures, to expand into new states including Andhra Pradesh. 'Rural Bharat doesn't need another app; it needs a system that works end to end,' says founder Priyadarshi Mohapatra.
