She's 6, and she solves a Rubik's cube in 4.27 seconds

Lian Yunzhi first picked up a Rubik's cube at age 4, when a single solve took her a minute and a half. Last month, at certified competitions in Wuhan and then Guangzhou, the six-year-old averaged 4.27 seconds across her solves — a new women's world record, and the first time any woman has averaged under 4.5 seconds. She has memorized more than 1,300 solving formulas and trains a couple of hours a day. Her mother says she was a shy kid; now she walks into any room with confidence.
